Brothers & Sisters,

Sunday, March 9, was a historic and special day for our congregation! For the first time ever, we were able, together as a congregation, to step foot on the land at 3200 Ross Bridge Parkway.

We prayed together over the location of our future sanctuary, and consecrated our beautiful chapel to the glory of God. It was also a special time to honor several persons and groups:

- The cross and arch were generously funded by two Methodist Women's groups.

- The podium was named in memory of our friend Jeff Bradley.

- We unveiled the chapel sign provided by Bridge Student & Boy Scout, Lincoln Anderson (his Eagle Scout project).

- Chapel benches were named in honor of Jerry McWilliams & Kevin Butler for their design and leadership during construction.

- The Chapel was named in honor of Rev. John & Wanda Mount in recognition of their spirits of love and dedication to lead the congregation from 2000-2017 to be established upon the new land.

Together we prayed, sang & thanked God for His faithfulness!

So now that Phase 1a is complete (except for punch-list items), when will Phase 1b (vertical construction) begin?

There are two processes that must be completed before we begin construction on Phase 1b.

The first process is to receive firm project pricing from our builder. The week of March 3, our construction team initiated the 4-6 week pricing process with our builder. Our builder has our permitted plans and is currently obtaining bids from subcontractors, working closely with our architects and engineers.

The second process is to obtain financing for the project based upon the firm project pricing. This process includes gathering required financial information for our lender’s analysis and meeting multiple times with them over the course of several weeks. Our construction finance team is currently in this process with our lender.

After both of these processes are complete, our construction team, construction finance team and Leadership Council will meet to review them. In short, we anticipate having more to report to our church family in 8-9 weeks.

What can we do in the meantime?

First, I invite you to join me in “drawing a circle” around Phase 1b. Express thanksgiving for the sacrificial generosity of our church. Pray for the wisdom of our members and staff who are leading our church through this process. Pray for our architects, engineers and builder to prudently plan and price the project. Pray that God’s will be done, in God's timing.

Second, remain faithful in your worship through giving. Two months from today on May 18th, we will celebrate the culmination of God’s BEYOND initiative in our church. Every sacrificial gift, no matter how big or small, moves us closer to our goals of building our new sanctuary. If you have questions about your BEYOND commitment or how to make a gift, please email Dawn@rossbridge.church. Together we can finish strong!

Thank you for your continued support of God's ministry through CARB. Your praying, serving and giving is a witness to Jesus’ Body, the Church, making greater ministry impact inside and outside our walls!

Thanking & Trusting the Lord with you,

Pastor Nathan
